I took Rachel's class [...] and enjoyed it very much. I appreciated the different perspectives of our stories and writing in general that she helped us see through her use of research on personal narrative, explanation of writing techniques, and prompts for weekly writing sessions. I came away from class with a deeper appreciation of what makes for good writing and how I could apply it to my own writing. I also developed a new perspective on the personal struggle I wrote about throughout the course. I would definitely recommend taking this course. - Gretchen D., Struggle to Strength student

Rachel is incredibly talented, smart, and sweet! I loved how quickly she was able to help our group relax and focus, and we collaboratively wrote a beautiful poem about listening that was such a pleasant surprise. - Kelley Sanadria, Founder of Femworking and workshop attendee

I can see how I grew and overcame several obstacles in the midst of dealing with several adversities within a short period of time. Prior to taking the class, all I could see was the big boulder that I was trying to push up hill, wondering if/when the boulder would roll back and crush me. Now, I am able to see how I was able to move forward despite (or in response) to difficult circumstances. In summary, my perspective shifted. - Struggle to Strength student
